If this token is received as treasure, you get cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, you become enraptured by every monster you encounter. As a consequence, you spend the first round of every combat singing love songs to the monster(s). While singing, you may not perform any other Actions–not even purely mental ones. Starting on round 2 of combat, the cursed character regains their free will and acts according to the player’s wishes. The presence of more than one monster does not prolong your “love song”.
Bards cannot use this instrument to play bardsong. Therefore, bardsong may not be played during the first round of combat if the owner of this token is a bard.
It is possible to suffer the effects of more than one curse at the same time. E.g., if you pulled this token and a CURSED Simian Claws of Wishing, you would be under the effects of both curses. However, if you pull the same cursed token more than once, the effects of the duplicated curse do not stack.
This curse can be removed by any token that removes curses. See each token’s description to see if it removes all current curses or just one.
Once you remove a curse, you may keep the token as a keepsake. The Lust Curse, whether removed or not, expires at the end of Gamehole Con 2022.
