If this token is received as treasure, you become cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, you–the real-life human person, not your in-game character–must say a bad pun every time you want to attack.

If you choose to attempt a Ranged weapon attack, you must use this weapon. When you make a Melee attack, you can use whichever weapon you prefer (unless some other effect says otherwise), but when you choose to make a Ranged weapon attack, it must be with Loki’s Pun Gun.

This item does not prevent you from casting Spells, scrolls, or using miscellaneous magic items. However, anything that might reasonably be called an attack (if it deals damage, requires the target to make a saving throw, or applies some kind of negative status effect, it’s an attack for this purpose) is subject to the Pun Curse. I.e., all attacks you make require you to make a bad pun, not just attacks made with this weapon.

Attacks made with this weapon may be augmented with a slug.

This item occupies your Ranged weapon slot and must be equipped until the curse is removed. If you’re able to wield more than one Ranged weapon slot item, this item only occupies one of your Ranged weapon slots.

It is possible to suffer the effects of more than one curse at the same time. E.g., if you pulled this token and a CURSED Simian Claws of Wishing, you would be under the effects of both curses. However, if you pull the same cursed token more than once, the effects of the duplicated curse do not stack.

This curse can be removed by any token that removes curses. See each token’s description to see if it removes all current curses or just one.

Once you remove a curse, you may keep the token as a keepsake. The Pun Curse, whether removed or not, expires at 11:59 pm on December 31, 2025. After that, this token may not be used in an adventure–in any capacity.

Erratum: This token should have been marked as exchangeable for Elven Bismuth. But since it was mistakenly marked as being exchangeable for Dwarven Steel, it can be exchanged for either 1 point toward Elven Bismuth or 1 point toward Dwarven Steel.
