Like all +5 weapons, the DM will add +5 to the AC hit when using this weapon but the damage bonus has already been factored into the damage wheel.

If the target of the attack is an Evil Outsider and the attack slide is a natural 20, the target is slain. This insta-kill effect cannot occur more than twice per game.

Once per game, the paladin gains +15 healing with a single use of lay on hands. The player chooses when to activate this effect.

The paladin may invoke grace twice per game.

Grace: The paladin may roll two d20s for a saving throw and take the higher result. Whether grace is used to affect a multi-person saving throw roll or an individual’s saving throw is up to the paladin. Grace may be used whether or not the paladin is directly affected by the saving throw. The use of grace must be declared before the first saving throw die is rolled.
