As an Instant Action, once per game, the rogue may choose to automatically succeed on the rogue skill test.

This item may be used proactively or–to a certain extent–retroactively. If the rogue player chose to initially perform the skill test in the traditional manner and then fails, the player has the option to immediately invoke this item’s power. The player may not think about it for a few minutes and then come back, the choice must be made on the spot.

Whether used proactively or retroactively, use of this item’s effect counts as a success in regards to other tokens that may require the rogue to pass their skill test.
