Devil Ant Orb - 2019 (Gold)

When used to make a successful ranged combat attack (slid as weapon on the combat board), this alchemical weapon will deal Poison damage to the monster. It is usable only once, whether the attack succeeds or misses.

Like all alchemical weapons, this item will deal double damage if the attacker scores a natural 20 on the attack slide. But unlike thrown physical weapons (dagger, spear, etc.), alchemical weapon damage is not increased by the attacker’s Strength score.

Flavor Only (this does not affect game play in ANY way): Though this is considered an alchemical weapon for all game purposes, its function does not rely on synthetic compounds. Live devil ants are contained within the orb and attack the target on impact.
