Once per room, when the wearer drinks a non-Exalted healing potion, the amount of healing is doubled; if the potion has non-HP-restoring effects, the HP healed is still doubled, but the side-effects are not doubled.
Exalted: The "sophomore" tier of transmuted token rarities; the ones with a cross near the bottom.
Q1) What potions are healing potions?
A1) To be used in conjunction with Master Drinker's Gloves, the healing token must comply with all of the following:
- It must be any rarity other than Exalted (the transmuted tokens with a cross near the bottom and star-shaped dimples around the edge)
- The word "potion" must be printed in its title
- It must be an actual potion
(If someday a "Scroll Destroy Potion" token were to be made that caused a targeted potion to explode, it could not be used in conjunction with this item.) - It must restore HP expressed as an integer, not a variable such as "half" or "all"
Q2) How does this interact with other items that modify healing potions (e.g. Greater Alchemist Pouch, Girdle of Wealful Health).
A2) Per the rules for Magical Damage Resolution, apply point-based modifiers before the doubling effect. Example: a 3 HP healing potion receives a +1 HP bonus from Girdle of Wealful Health, and the resulting 4 HP gets doubled to 8 HP from Master Drinker's Gloves.
Q3) How does this interact with other items that share healing potions (e.g. Flask of Sharing, Lotus Blossom Bowls).
A3) Only the character drinking the potion benefits from the Master Drinker's Gloves.
